SOULFUL & CHIC WEDDING IN CRETE

There's something undeniably artistic in the magical tapestry of antiquity and landscapes across dreamy hamlets and vibrant cities that encompasses the island of Crete. Finding myself among the generously spirited second generation American Greeks and their was a treat unto itself, and yet Anna and Nikolas' wedding at the beautiful Reveli Estate in Chania left me with a longlasting impression of what that innate largesse and bounty of heart, "paliakaria" as we call it around these places, is all about. As wedding photographers, we come to rub shoulders with so many families something that in my books is huge, the idea and the palpability of the family portrait in all its broader senses. I'd be remiss not to mention the wonderful meeting with the couple's wedding planner Crete For Love, who, ever so elegantly set the scene for this amazing bride and groom, or the Xylouris and Kallergis brothers whose lineage of traditional bards goes way back into history, as well as all the creatives behind this beautiful affair.
