I am Sotiris, the photographer and creative artist behind Ascot & Veil, and as a constant gatherer of moments, I perfectly understand how special but fleeting they tend to be, and how precious your time is to you.
In one breath you can find yourself looking to attend to every single detail, with a blissful wish for splendor and perfection. I will be there, capturing all the delicious little things of movement and life; your perfect memories … covered!
As a photographer, I am always overwhelmed by how smart couples look, how many laughs and sweet words they share during their shoot, and how creative they feel. I cannot help finishing their shoot with a constant feeling I am in love, again.

Sotiris has worked with more than 1500 couples in countries all over Europe and taught more than 150 photographers the necessary skills to become digital and analog destination wedding photographers. He has been featured in magazines such as Harpers Bazaar, Brides, Elle, Belle Lumiere, Ultimate Weddings, Dear Grey Magazine, Burnettsboard, Adorn Magazine and blogs like Martha Stewart Weddings, Style me pretty, Ruffled, Wedding Sparrow, Green Wedding Shoes, Magnolia Rouge, Carats & Cake, Wedding Chicks, among others. He has published 4 books and held over 14 workshops for photographers from all over the world.
Sotiris studied Physics at University of Patras. Having the mind for logic and the eye for beauty he is able to create the most interesting, one-of-a-kind outcomes for his clients. He is a warmhearted artist that loves humanity and the authentic, joyful highlights in people’s lives. “What prompted me to quit Science and become a photographer was a Panhellenic Achievement Award back in 2000, hence my conviction that an award can actually become a life-saver. From there on up to date I received 10 awards, for which I´m really thankful. I only enter album photography competitions, as I am positive that a great story is certainly more vital and harder to pull than merely a great shot. I am a storytelling photographer, and that is why I consider the album to be a creator's premier point of being deemed and reckoned.”
Sotiris creates stories by finding beauty and making the moments impeccable. He delivers the story of the couple’s day with style, beauty, elegance, and simplicity. As a lover of weddings and happy people, he humbly honors the task he has been given by his clients and artistically captures their stories. “A wedding has a storyline that talks about the couple’s preferences, tastes, relation, values, and beauty. My goal is capturing all the senses of it as good as possible and delivering the day’s story to my couples.”
Sotiris accompanies the couple and their guests like a chameleon, becoming one of them. He captures and creates just the right moment one second before it happens. “In time my eyes have turned into a camera and I love delivering something that nobody else can see. Photography has allowed me to see the world in a different way, finding beauty and photographs wherever I go. Even when I am not working I see the world in photographs. I see light and expressions of life everywhere.”
