The divergent shores of the Athenian Riviera- the heaving cosmopolitan constituent on the side of Athens and the calmer, residential villa clad side of Saronida -could well be a poetic metaphor for this couple's life balance. During the week, they flit between their endeavors in the hip suburbs of Athens, meeting friends after work, having lunches and managing their businesses, and when the night calls they return to their sleek nest in the quiet hills of Anavyssos. A sweet November Sunday finds them lazying in bed as if they've traveled to a different city, somewhere in the country, cozy and serene, the place to connect with each other. She slips into perfect intimates and as he reads his morning paper, she writes him love letters and prepares little surprises... and right before breakfast, a question pops... and he said... yes!This Sweet November editorial (part of my CITY OWL ATHENS wedding photography workshop) was conjured up with the super talented teams of Mazi Events and Redboxdays as a nod to the couple who loves modernity and ease. We wished to convey a story about the beauty of having an intimate engagement shoot at home. The images gravitate around how each couple ease their minds and center their energy around the beauty of their relationship.
