"Vaso & Akis wanted a little treat for their engagement, and what can be sweeter than one of the most idyllic Greek isles?The Venetians named the isle Spezia, Spetses in modern greek, meaning spice, due to its compelling scent of jasmine and pine. We had such an easy going day strolling along the sea promenade and narrow cobbled streets, past well-preserved villas, domed churches, and olive groves. The only traffic sounds one can hear in the peaceful backstreets is the sweet rattle of bicycles, mopeds or horse-drawn carriages, as there are absolutely no cars in the town.As for the light, it's impossible to negotiate or not fall in love with. I can't wait for their wedding to take place soon, they are amazing !"?
