Later that month the company presents the public with the Italian wasp, the stylish, worldwide phenomenon scooter known as Vespa that is to become an iconic emblem for the Italian lifestyle and aesthetics.Still in Italy, in fair Verona, as William Shakespeare refers to the staging set of Romeo and Juliet, we find ourselves inspired by the 40's lush countryside.Strolling en plein air, embraced by the leafy shades of secular (century-old) trees a sweet, unassuming our couple finds their safe haven - away from warfare- in the arms of Villa Contarini. Its Hortus Secretus, the enclosed garden reminding of Renaissance gardens, the walls enclosing it of Persian, protect the newlyweds and materialize for them an idea of Eden.
