A Santorini destination wedding carries that feel of loosened-up luxury and nails a formidable triple-bill of endless shores, dizzying landscapes and escape into this other world, and If there is anything a beach like Vlyhada exudes, with its overwhelming carved cliffs that look like a sculptor's work, this has to be its absolute sense of escapism. 
When we decided to team with Anjie from Only For You Events for our beach edit of The Secret Owl Santorini I was so excited to see the marriage of oceanic and organic elements to modern stylistic touches: a gorgeous boho gown with Bishop sleeves by Greek Nouveau Coutourier Christos Costarellos, rare black coral fans paired with muted and fanciful florals by Studio 7 Flowers, organic shells, Old Havana and Mineral dinnerware from Anthropologie that came together in  spellbinding hues to punctuate this love fete by the ocean. Atelier Invitations did an amazing work on the paper goods and our invitations suite, fusing the direction of the winds and sunset hues with texture and calligraphy to render truly beautiful and romantic paper art. 
We wanted to incorporate the equestrian theme in our shoot as more and more couples love to would love to include horseriding on the beach in their wedding celebration, and this extra presence would bring in a naturalistic and intimate feeling I appreciate. It made our couple feel connected to the world and life which is precious because during a wedding celebration it is always necessary to create their own mental environment, something vital to thinking and dreaming, and becoming themselves.
