Louise & Jay
Fiesole village -Tuscany with its postcard-perfect landscapes, the timeless familiarity with gently rolling hills dipped in soft morning mist and sculptural cypress alleys. And is there a more enthralling place than Castello-di-Vincigliata for a destination wedding? Among silver olive groves and pea-green vineyards marching in sharp terraced rows on hillsides forming a graceful prelude to the soul-soaring medieval hilltop village, mountain ranges and fecund forests in the north. Ah, this uber-stylish Irish bride and groom knew both the how-tos and the where to's.Established in 1031, this castle hosted the most gripping celebration. Formality and tradition theatrically embracing fun-loving and sheer romance. A tad of lavenders and pinks for imagination, spirituality and tenderness, deep blues and soft grays for stability, and when it came to the exuberant guests... notice how an exquisite wedding hat can make all the difference? Many thanks to my friend Rosie Melody (the wedding planner) for this opportunity
